Terms of use
These terms apply to the Mezarpoly game and all related services provided through mezarpoly.fun and api.mezarpoly.fun. By using the site you accept these terms.
1. The service
Mezarpoly is a multiplayer property-trading game played in the browser. It can be played free of charge as a guest. Optionally, the in-game virtual unit Mezar Coin can be bought or earned by playing; Mezar Coin is used to get cosmetic and perk items such as characters, maps, dice, titles and an ad-free experience. Items do not affect game balance (dice, rent, money).
2. Account and age limit
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (GDPR art. 8; the digital age of consent in Poland is 16). Users under 18 may not make purchases without the consent of their legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential; you may not transfer your account to anyone else.
3. Prohibited use
Cheating, exploiting bugs, playing with automated tools (bots), farming Mezar Coin with multiple accounts, payment fraud, refund abuse, overloading the server, attempting to bypass security measures, harassing others and sharing illegal content are prohibited. A warning may be given for a violation; for serious or repeated violations the account may be restricted or closed without warning and its balance deleted. A restriction decision is sent to you by email with its reasons, and you can appeal it (see Contact).
4. Availability of the service
The service is provided as is and in good faith; uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Open rooms may be briefly interrupted during maintenance, updates or outages. Features, maps and prices may change over time; changes do not affect balances and items you have already bought.
5. Intellectual property
The Mezarpoly name, interface design, character artwork and code belong to the owner of the service. Flags and fonts are used under their respective open licences (e.g. SIL OFL).
6. Liability
Without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights, no liability is accepted for indirect damages, data loss and interruptions arising from use of the service. This limitation does not apply to intent, gross negligence or cases where the law does not allow such a limitation.
7. Governing law and disputes
The law of the country where the seller is established applies; the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you reside as a consumer remain unaffected. Please write to [email protected] first; for disputes that cannot be resolved, you may turn to the consumer-protection authorities or competent courts of your country.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is published on this page, and material changes are announced by email to users with accounts.
Terms of sale and refunds (TR · PL · EU)
This section applies to Mezar Coin and shop purchases. It is based on Turkish Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation in Turkey; the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Ustawa o prawach konsumenta, 30 May 2014) in Poland; and the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the Digital Content Directive (EU) 2019/770 in the European Union.

2. Nature of the products (Przedmiot świadczenia)
Mezar Coin is a virtual unit valid only within Mezarpoly; it is not electronic money or a means of payment, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be sold to third parties. Items in the shop are intangible digital content.
Expansion packs and perks: Expansion packs (e.g. special Chance cards) and perks (e.g. 5–8 player rooms, ad-free experience) are digital content assigned to your account. An expansion pack only applies in rooms created by its owner; the room owner's pack changes the cards for everyone in the room. These items do not guarantee a game outcome in any unfair way; in case of cheating, refund abuse or account sharing, the account may be restricted.
3. Price and payment (Płatności)
Packs and prices are shown in the shop. Prices may be shown in Turkish lira (TRY), euro, US dollar, pound sterling or Polish złoty depending on your country (chosen automatically); the amount actually charged is the one shown on the payment page, and your bank may apply its own exchange rate if your card uses a different currency. Real-money equivalents shown next to Mezar Coin amounts are approximate. The final amount and applicable taxes (VAT) are shown on the payment page before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, which meets international security standards (PCI-DSS); your card details are not transmitted to or stored on Mezarpoly servers.
4. Delivery (Dostawa treści cyfrowych)
When payment is confirmed, Mezar Coin is credited to your account automatically, usually within a few seconds. If it takes longer than 10 minutes, write to [email protected] with your order number.
5. Right of withdrawal and its exception (Prawo odstąpienia od umowy)
Türkiye: Under article 15(1)(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for services performed instantly in electronic form or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer.
Polska i UE: Zgodnie z art. 38 pkt 13 ustawy z dnia 30 maja 2014 r. o prawach konsumenta oraz art. 16 lit. m dyrektywy 2011/83/UE prawo odstąpienia od umowy nie przysługuje konsumentowi w odniesieniu do umów o dostarczanie treści cyfrowych niezapisanych na nośniku materialnym, jeżeli spełnianie świadczenia rozpoczęło się za wyraźną zgodą konsumenta przed upływem terminu do odstąpienia i po poinformowaniu go o utracie prawa odstąpienia.
EU (summary): Under art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose that right.
For this reason, before buying you expressly confirm, by ticking the box, that delivery will start immediately and that you will lose your right of withdrawal. The text of the confirmation, its time and your IP address are recorded with the order. Your statutory rights remain reserved; if digital content is defective, your conformity rights under (EU) 2019/770 apply.
6. Complaints and refund procedure (Procedura reklamacyjna)
In case of double charges, a payment that was received without Mezar Coin being delivered, or a technical error on our side, the system retries delivery or delivers manually; if that cannot be resolved, the amount is refunded by the same payment method. Send your request with your order number to [email protected]; it will be answered in writing within 14 days (14 dni) at the latest. The Mezar Coin from a refunded order is taken back from your account; if the balance is insufficient for the spent part, items of equal value may be removed.
7. Balance and account
If your account is deleted or closed for a serious violation, unused Mezar Coin and items are deleted; cases where a refund is required by law remain reserved. Balances earned fraudulently or refunded unjustly may be taken back.
8. Invoices and records
A payment receipt is sent by email by Stripe. Order records are kept for the statutory period because of accounting and tax obligations (generally 5 years under Polish law).
Privacy policy / KVKK notice
Controller
The person named in the Seller section is the data controller (KVKK: veri sorumlusu · GDPR: administrator danych). Contact: [email protected].
What data, for what purpose
Guest: the name you choose and a random player key are kept in your browser's local storage; room data stays in server memory while the game is running and is briefly written to disk if the server restarts (anything older than 30 minutes is deleted).
Account: display name, email, password (only a one-way scrypt hash), if you signed in with Discord/Google that service's ID and verified email, game statistics, total play time and last-seen time, Mezar Coin balance, items, login sessions (with IP address and browser information for security, up to 30 days). Purpose: to provide the account and the game.
Orders: pack, amount, time, email, the text of the digital-content consent and your IP address. Purpose: performance of the contract, legal obligations, evidence.
Public profile: Profiles of players with accounts are public by default at mezarpoly.fun/u/yourname: display name, level, title, game statistics (games, wins, points), total and live play time and online/in-game status are shown; email, balance and purchase details are never shown. You can hide your profile at any time with the switch on the profile page; for a hidden profile only your name is visible.
Profile picture: If you wish, you can upload a profile picture, choose a character you own as your picture or (if you signed in with Discord) use your Discord profile photo. An uploaded or Discord-sourced image is re-encoded on our server as a 160×160 PNG and stored (metadata is stripped) and is shown only while your profile is public; the Discord photo is served from our server so that players' browsers do not make requests to Discord. You can remove your picture at any time; it is deleted when you delete your account. Images belonging to others, illegal, obscene or hateful images may not be uploaded; they are removed upon notice and the account may be closed.
Friends: Players with accounts can send each other friend requests. The friendship relation (two account numbers and the time) is stored only to provide this feature; friends see each other's online/in-game status. Your friendship records are deleted when you delete your account.
Room and game records: In-room chat and game state are kept only in server memory (and in a temporary state file at shutdown) while the game is running. A player who has been kicked from a room twice (by account number or browser token) is prevented from rejoining that room for as long as it exists.
Security: Via Cloudflare, IP, browser information and access time are processed briefly for bot protection and rate limiting; Cloudflare Turnstile is used for sign-up, login and password reset.
Legal basis
Account and game service: performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b); KVKK art. 5/2-c). Orders and accounting: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)). Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). Optional cookies: explicit consent (art. 6(1)(a)).
Transfers and processors
Hosting and security: Cloudflare. Payments: Stripe. Optional sign-in: Discord, Google. Email (verification, password reset): Resend. These services may transfer data outside the EU/EEA; transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Your data is not sold.
Retention
Account data until you delete your account; sessions 30 days; order records for the statutory period (generally 5 years) in a form that does not identify you; security logs at most 30 days; game room backups 30 minutes.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (GDPR art. 15–21; KVKK art. 11). You can download your data as JSON from the profile page and delete your account in one step; for other requests write by email, and you will get a reply within 30 days at the latest.
Community rules
Be respectful in chat: insults, hate speech, harassment, sharing personal data, spam and illegal content are prohibited. Cheating and using bots are prohibited. Impersonating others, and obscene or hateful wording, are prohibited in names and titles; inappropriate names are changed. Violations may lead to account restrictions.
Notices of illegal content (DSA)
If you believe content (e.g. a chat message or a username) is illegal, you can report it to [email protected] with the location of the content, your reasons and your contact details. Notices are assessed under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA, art. 16), the Polish act on electronic services and, in Türkiye, Law No. 5651; content found to be illegal is removed without delay, and both the notifier and the content owner are informed with reasons. You can appeal decisions at the same address.
GDPR / RODO additional information
No separate data protection officer has been appointed; requests are made to the contact address. The competent supervisory authority in Poland is the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa. In Türkiye you can apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority; you may also complain to the supervisory authority of your own country. No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out.
